Sylvester Stallone, Robert De Niro, Carey Mulligan & Jonah Hill Talk About Getting Punched in Movies

Credit: BBC & The Graham Norton Show (via Youtube).

The Graham Norton Show had one of its best couches ever this Friday, with such guests like Sylvester Stallone, Robert De Niro, Carey Mulligan and Jonah Hill. The two Hollywood giants, Stallone and De Niro, appeared to promote their new family/drama/comedy boxing film Grudge Match. I haven't seen this one yet, but everyone says it's really something.

We all know Stallone for his cult role of the underdog boxer Rocky, but interestingly enough, he wasn't that keen on starring in Grudge Match. Graham Norton asks the Italian Stallion as to why he was reluctant at first and then turns to De Niro to find out what convinced him otherwise. Finally, before moving on to his younger guests, Norton volunteers to get punched by Sylvester only to recreate the method they use in cinema. The result turned out to be a masterpiece.

In Part 3, Norton talks to Mulligan and Hill mostly about their latest films, Inside Llewyn Davis and The Wolf of Wall Street, respectively. Since boxing became the underlying tone of the episode, the young stars revealed some of their own punching stories.
