No Loki in "The Avengers 2"

The helmer of The Avengers movies, Joss Whedon, has revealed that the well spoken villain Loki [Tom Hiddleston] - and brother of Thor - will not be featured in The Avengers 2. "Everyone is going to be looking for the Loki-Hulk smash moment [in Avengers 2] and you’ll be looking for quim. First of all, imitating what I did before is the surest way to do it not as well. Second of all, Loki’s not there to say those terrible things. Although I do think we should bring the word back. Not as an insult, it’s just a nice word," Whedon said on Empire magazine's Podcast show.

QUIZ: Should Loki return in The Avengers 2? (below)

Do not be sad, though. We'll see Loki one more time before he disappears into the shadows of darkness. The antagonist can be seen in the trailer of Thor: The Dark World, albeit that doesn't confirm an extensive participation.
